  • HELP IDENTIFY THIS PILL WATSON 322

While doing laundry, we found a white pill in our teenagers pants pockets that is white and round that says Watson 322 on it---if anyone knows what this is, please respond. Poison control was NO help to us---thanks!

The pill in question is of the identical kind my next door neighbor is taking, (among others) to control pain while she is deteriorating from the ravages of cancer. Depending on how coherent she wants to be - what or how much she will take. It is an opiate, highly addictive, (habit forming), and can cost anywhere from $3-$80 per pill on the black market depending on the legality, the dosage, the clientele, and the environment in which it is provided. An overdose and possible death could occur if taken with alcohol or by itself in excess of whatever amount the particular person may be used to taking. I would suggest you have a very intense conversation with your son (possibly, counseling should be recommended if it is not already in place). Good luck, my prayers are with you!!! Some >>>>>> addicts will take this when their fix is not readily available. Your son definitely needs to find different ways of entertaining himself-(and obviously different friends)-death and dying is not a 'fun' or cool thing, and there is no turning back when a person finds themselves in the the clutches of such a spectre *INTERVENE*!)Dr. Brent Bennett
