  • white round, V 2064 and 3 on the other side

I found these 3 white round pills the bottle says they are tylenal with codiene but i want to make sure.
    1. Are these tylenol with codiene?
    2. Does that mean they are like vicodin?
    3. the exp. date says 01 but my teacher said that his doctor told him that they have to put that date on pills and they are still good. (he was reffering to his own anxiety pills tho..)

Yes, they are generic acetaminophen #3 with codeine. Generic for Tylenol with codeine.

They do have to put an expiriation date usually from 6 months to 1 year. With something like tylenol with codeine, (which by the way is a little bit weaker than the vicodin 5mg is). It is not dangerous to use a pain medication after it has expired. In other words, it will not make you sick or anything; however, it might not be as potent. Depending where you had it stored will make the difference. If it was in a cool, dark place then it should still be just as strong as it was 10 years ago! If not, then it might not work as well.
